14 January 2018 – Church Newsletter

This morning we start our series examining the parables that Jesus told.

Jason, Sharon & Paul lead our service; our children’s groups will be going to their various sessions after the first part of our time together. Today they will be exploring the calling of Matthew and being accepted.

We pray that you find the inspiration and challenge of our amazing God this morning. Please join us for refreshments after the service, for which there is no charge. This leaflet gives you some idea of the activities in our fellowship, but do talk with those taking part in the service today if you want to know more.

2018 Flowers

Still some weeks left if you would like to sponsor the flowers. Please see Lauren for more details.

From Mary Jacobs

I’d like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the generous person or persons who sent me a special Acts of Kindness. I was overwhelmed and so very grateful, I shall certainly put it to good use at this moment in time.

Thank you once again for all your kindness and prayers. God bless.

Welcome

Fancy finding out what goes on with all that techie stuff at church? Want to have a go playing a song with others but don’t want to stand up in front of the congregation? Then come along on 28th January for a Praise Practice. Bring a packed lunch for after the service and then join us as we try a few things out, sort out the cupboard (again!) and play a few songs. We’ll aim to be done by 3pm. If you want to know more, please contact Paul Rycroft.

We hope you feel comfortable on our premises and receive a warm

Welcome. Stay if you can for refreshments after the service, for which there is no charge. Please take a note of the activities below and join in with the life of our fellowship as you can. Our welcome team or any of the regulars can let you know more about life at BBC.
