Welcome to BIG CHURCH- the one where we’re All-In!

The service this morning will be led by The BIG Church Team with lots of help from some familiar friends!

Our worship today will continue to look at the life of Daniele In Daniel Chapter 6, we read of Daniel’s experience in the lion’s den and learn that God saves. WHAT? Today, we’ll be finding out how faithful God is to us when we trust him.

HOW? Through God’s Word, music, drama, discussion, being still, moving, creating, thinking, writing, not writing, doodling, watching, listening… and more!

PREPARE… Come ready to encounter and be changed by God and grow in relationship with Him. PRAY… That the Holy Spirit will inspire and challenge you and that Jesus will be the focus of all our worshipe

FINALLY… As always, we encourage you to fill up the church from the front and pray that you will leave the building challenged and changed.

All-In Sync

  • Sing some songs with the band about being saved.
  • Games involving saving with Jason and Sarah in the hall.
  • In the lobby area, discuss the questions on the newssheet with Chris.
  • Decorate paper plate lion heads with Ros and Claire at the front of the church.
  • Write an SOS message in a bottle at the back of the sanctuary.
  • Think about the questions on the newsheet in the pews.

Discuss Questions

  • If we are saved, what are we saved from?
  • If we see lions to be saved from, why don’t some others?
  • Does an easy life sometimes make it harder to trust God?
  • What are the positive ways we can tell people they need saving?

Think Questions

  • What are the lions in your life?
  • What does being saved from them mean to you?
  • What practical difference does it make in your life?
  • Can others tell that you are saved?

Daniel 6:25-27

King Darius sent this message to the people of every race and nation and language throughout the world:

Peace and prosperity to you’ll decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel.

For he is the living God, and he will endure forever.

His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end.

He rescues and saves his people; he performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth.

He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.

Café

Our wonderful café runs as part of the Wave Centre here at church. With it’s great mixture of volunteers and staff it’s able to provide good value meals and refreshments for those in our local community.

Open weekdays 9am—3pm.

Service Recordings

We record our services and have started to stream some of the talks through Facebook Live as ways to keep up with our time together. On occasion we also take pictures for use in our website or reports in line with our data policy. If you don’t want your image to be included then please just mention to our welcome team.

Prayer and thanks
