Welcome to BIG CHURCH- the one where we’re All-in!
The service this morning will be led by Jason, Ros, Claire, Chris and Sarah with a little help from some familiar friends!
The Bible says:
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
James 1 v 12
- WHAT? Today, we’ll be finding out why PERSEVERANCE is so important, looking at how the Wise Men persevered in following the star, on what seemed like a crazy quest.
- HOW? Through God’s Word, music, drama, discussion, being still, moving, creating, thinking, writing, not writing, doodling, watching, listening…and more!
- PREPARE… Come ready to encounter and be changed by God and grow in relationship with Him.
- PRAY… That the Holy Spirit will inspire and challenge you and that Jesus will be the focus of all our worship.
- FINALLY… We encourage you to fill up the church from the front and pray that you will leave the service having learnt something new.

We hope you feel comfortable on our premises and receive a warm welcome. Enjoy breakfast with us before the service, served in the café area, for which there is no charge. Please take a note of the activities below and join in with the life of our fellowship—we’d love to see you.
Our Regular Events
- Our Sunday worship is held here at 10:30am
- 1st Sunday of the month—Big Church, where we are ‘All-in’
- 3rd Sunday of the month Communion
- 3rd Sunday—One Mission Cards, supporting our mission giving.
- Creche and our ‘Powerbase’ kids groups meet each Sunday
- Senior Moments 2:30pm 2nd Sunday of the month A time to socialise and enjoy high tea.
- Prayer Meetings: Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings
- Home groups are held on various evenings during the week
- Time to Paint: Wednesdays 1.45pm—4pm
- Mexican Train Dominoes Wednesdays 10:30-12:00
Café
And of course our wonderful café that serves a wide range of tasty treats, refreshments and wholesome meals.
Open weekdays 9am—3pm.
All-In Sync
- SING – Stay in the sanctuary and worship through music, led by Adam and the band.
- CREATE – Persevere with Hama Beads with Claire and Sarah on the platform.
- MOVE – Perseverance games with Ros and Linda in the café.
- WRITE – Write a short story about perseverance at the back of the sanctuary.
- DISCUSS – Discuss the questions on the news sheet with Chris in the Lobby.
- THINK – Think about the questions on the news sheet quietly in the Anchor Lounge.
Singers Rechoired: Men! Rechoired
Men -Want to sing? To have fun? Be part of Choir Fest 25 th March 2017? Try our choir on a no obligation basis for the next 8 weeks?
Men… no subs rechoired you just need to be able to commit to perform at ChoirFest 2017 on the 25 th March 2017 in Bognor.
We meet on Wednesday evenings 19:30 – 21:00 at Broadwater Baptist Church. No audition rechoired!
