Happy New Year!

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Masher Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven – and the future starts now!
1 Peter 1v3 (Msg)

Jason and Paul lead our service this morning. Powerbase, our series of groups for youngsters, go off to their sessions after the first part of the service. We start our series on ‘Baptist Basics’ today with the text Galatians 5 v 1-8.

Brownies

Brownies will have their 60th birthday in January 2017. They have been connected to our church and so all from church are warmly invited to join with 11th Worthing Brownies in our celebration. This will take place on Saturday 21st January, 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the Church Hall. There will be refreshments, birthday cake and activities to try. So if you can make it, have any photos or written memories that can be displayed at the party then please contact Hazel Ollive. She will also need to know if you are coming for catering purpose.

Jack in the Box Playgroup

Jack In The Box Playgroup have their Ofsted inspection on Monday. Please pray for Jenny Rae and all the staff as they welcome their important visitors. May they keep their calm and be able to give a good account of their pre-school.

We pray for Eric and the family as they grieve for Margaret Badcock who passed away peacefully on 2nd January. We look back with thankful hearts as we reflect on what an inspiration Margaret has been through the years.
