Jason and Ruth lead our service this morning.

It’s great to have you with us as we worship, reflect and consider our faith together. If you have any questions then please ask one of our welcome team. Do stay if you can for refreshments after the service, for which there is no charge.

Powerbase, our series of groups for youngsters, continue their sessions after the first part of the service.

This week is known as Holy Week, culminating in the weekend that changed the world. Do take the opportunity to join in one of our special events, whether it be the darkness of Tenebrae, or reflections of Good

Friday. Our Prayer Tent for Lent remains in place for this last week of Lent and of course next Sunday we join to celebrate God’s amazing resurrection power with praise and with baptisms. Hallelujah!

Café

Our wonderful café runs as part of the Wave Centre here at church. With it’s great mixture of volunteers and staff it’s able to provide good value meals and refreshments for those in our local community.

Open weekdays 9am—3pm.

Service Recordings

We record our services and have started to stream some of the talks through Facebook Live as ways to keep up with our time together. On occasion we also take pictures for use in our website or reports in line with our data policy. If you don’t want your image to be included then please just mention to our welcome team.

Baptisms

We’re excited that on Easter Sunday we will have the privilege of joining in four baptisms. Please encourage and pray for Mary Jacobs, Sherrie Jackson, Alan Sweetman-Hicks and Simon Napper as they prepare this week. Also lets pray for those that the respective candidates invite along, that they will experience a real sense of God being there. May we all look forward to being challenged in the new life of Christ and maybe even more baptisms!

One Mission

Remember to take a look at the lovely cards on sale in the café today. Denise is selling these creative cards to support our One Mission giving. So not only can you give a special card to someone, you can support our giving too.

Thanks Denise 🙂

Easter Monday

Join us on Easter Monday to enjoy the Sussex countryside. We’ll be based at Dial Post, just off the A24 and our walk will take us to Shipley Windmill.

The village hall provides a great base for an afternoon of fellowship. Feel free to join us for a picnic lunch from Ipm and we’ll finish with refreshments at 3pm. All is free, but you’ll need your own picnic lunch and if you want to bring some cake to share in the afternoon then you’ll be more than welcome. See the leaflet for more info and if you can sign up on the sheet at the back of church it will help us know who to expect where.

Lent Prayer Tent

This week is our last week of the prayer tent. In Holy Week take time to be apart from the busyness of daily life to reflect, listen and pray. Thanks in particular to Lauren who has provided many different ideas to inspire our prayers through lent.
