This looks like a different worship space.
A message from Denise:
Most of you will remember the greeting cards I made and sold for (then) One Mission. In fact I still have some left which I'll bring in soon.
I still have an awful lot of cards/envelopes plus an awful lot of photos to go on them. I felt they looked far better with a border around the photo. However, our latest printer will not take card so I can no longer put on the border nor the 'sold in aid of ..' on the back.
Is there anybody who would either like to take it all on, or can do the printing for me to stick the photos on?
If you want to know more about it, please contact me or catch me at church (we won't be there tomorrow).
Thanks
Denise

🎹Denise Muddle has a piano she would like to rehome.🎹
She says:
"I have a piano I'd like to give away. It is good, although needs a tuning. It's one octave short of the 'norm'. It doesn't take up nearly as much room as most pianos at 130cm x 45cm x 88cm.
Would anybody like it or know a Home/nursery/school/charity or anywhere else that might be able to make use of it?"
If you are interested or know anyone who is, please get in touch.
Feel free to share this post too!

Such a great weekend 🙏🏻💕
☕Every other month, a dedicated team from our congregation host a Sunday afternoon event called 'Senior Moments'.
It's an afternoon designed to bring those young at heart together to chat, to eat, play games and to hear different speakers.
There is a varied programme which you can see on the second poster which lists the dates for 2024.🗓
➡️It's just £3.50 a person which is great value so if you know anyone who would be interested in coming please share this post with them or pick up a leaflet from church next time your there.
All are welcome! 😊

Here is Jessica's poem:
Remembrance
Jessica Rycroft age 10 November 2023
We look upon you
Heroes of the past,
Seeing the tide of destruction,
You pushed through
Endless abyss, storm of war,
We will remember
Crimson poppies as far as eyes can see,
Vast cemeteries bearing your name,
Cherishing blooms of red,
Silent screams still ring,
We will remember.
You walked into horrors for us,
Your death was not in vain,
For we held the torch high,
In honour of your name,
We will remember.

We’ll done Jessica. I showed it to David and he said it would be brilliant if an adult had written it! X
Beautiful words x
Thank you for sharing 😊 X
So so beautiful and touching ❤️
Really brilliant Jessica x
🌹We had a lovely Remembrance service this morning at BBC, albeit quieter than normal as we are unfortunately not back in the church sanctuary yet due to the building work. This meant we were unable to host the local Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows. We missed you all!
As part of the service Jessica read a poem about Remembrance that she had written at school last week and Lauren made this video to watch as a reflection.
The track used is a beautiful version of 'I Vow to Thee my Country' by Beck Goldsmith.
We will remember them. 🕊

A beautiful service 🙏
It was a lovely Remembrance Service, thank you to all who took part. Would be good to see Jessica's poem if possible 😊
Another lovely seasonal noticeboard for all to enjoy! 🍂
It wasn't the plan but it kind of looks like a tribute to the sadly felled tree at Hadrians Wall.
Thanks to Sue and Lauren for your creative skills. 🌳
