18 June 2017 – Church Newsletter

We gather this morning to bring our praise and worship to God who’s love is indescribable.

Through our prayers God connects with us and inspires us to fulfil His purpose on the frontline.

This morning we continue our series of Life on The Frontline by looking at the ‘Frontline Cry’. Jason and Lauren lead the service and the children’s activities will start after initially worshipping together as one family.

Whether regular or visitor, we hope you find a warm welcome and are able to join us for complimentary refreshments after the service. If you would like to know more about our building or any aspect of our fellowship life together, then please do ask one of the welcome team.

  • Our Father Our identity is directly connected to God’s action for us. We are not defined by what we do, or what we have done. If we are part of God’s family, it means we are to reflect the family likeness and work in the family business. What does that look like on a day-to-day basis?
  • Your Kingdom come You can only pray this if you want to see things change. What needs to change?
  • Give us your daily bread What is today’s need?
  • Forgive us Who have we hurt? Who has hurt us? Of what do we have to let go?
  • Lead us not into temptation What temptations do you face on your Frontline?

Lunch for One Mission

It was one of the finest days of the year so far yesterday, and the weather was quite good too! Of course we’re referring to the wonderful coffee and ploughman’s provided by Linda’s homegroup in aid of One Mission. The sun shone, people chatted, ate lovely food and donated to our One Mission fund. As a church we support the Baptist community both home and abroad to fulfil the calling to be God’s hands, feet and voice in this needy world.

A great big thank you to all those who supported and especially the hard work of Linda and team who catered.
