BBC Camp 2026! ⛺
Another fantastic weekend in the great outdoors spending time with our church family and some of their friends.
We were blessed with slightly cooler temperatures making it just perfect.
We played, we sang, we ate...a lot! We enjoyed each other's company, had many Task Master challenges to complete and enjoyed the beauty of God's wonderful creation at the beautiful Champs Hill campsite.
Our theme was based on Mark 10 v 25... It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle then for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. 🐫🪡💰
We made 'rich' cakes to be judged along with many other challenges based on that theme including having 6 minutes to dress up to look as rich as possible, then as poor as possible. All judged by the Task Master Jason and his assistant Chris, a role they enjoy far too much!🤣
Thanks to all who organised the various aspects of the weekend and those who helped out throughout the weekend in any way. Team work really does make the dream work! 😁
Thank you for an absolutely wonderful weekend! There were so many unexpected moments of Joy ! What a blessing to see our young people all engaging beautifully with each other, all the activities and us oldies!! ❤️
On Saturday 11th July, some of the Chaps at BBC enjoyed a breakfast together and then played mini golf. Very well done to Ken, who managed to beat Matt in the play-off 😊
We had a great afternoon celebrating Jason's 10th anniversary of being Minister at BBC. A fun afternoon of sunshine and wind, cake, picnics and fellowship together as our church family. 🎉

What a glorious day for our Easter Monday walk from Burpham village hall! Just over 9km walked in the sunshine finishing with tea, cakes and quizzes with more of our friends afterwards.
We've had all sorts of weather over the years...rain, snow, torrential rain and wind and sun so hot we got sunburnt! We always have a wonderful time together though!

What a wonderful service we had this morning. It was great to see so many celebrating with us!
The cross looked beautiful by the end of the morning and Freya got creative during the service making this empty tomb out of blocks. 😊

It is a comfort and encouragement to be part of a crowd, and when it comes to helping others and receiving help, the more the merrier.
However, Jesus calls each and every one of us into a personal relationship with him. Even though we are part of a crowd, at school, at work and in our community, he is always there with each one of us individually.

An amazing £465 was raised to go towards Lawrence's trip to Ecuador with Camps International in the summer.
One last event remains Barbara Sealerbara Seale walk 100 miles in 10 weeks which is quite a 'feet' for someone who turned 80 at the end of last year! 👣 Go Barbara! We think you're amazing! 🙌🏻

Paul led this morning's service, when we reminded ourselves of what we have learned over the last 12 months, all the different aspects of church life that we are blessed with, and how we have grown in our faith. Thanks also to Adam for providing the music and leading us in our worship songs.

What a wonderful service we had tonight! Huge thanks to Lancing Brass for leading our carols so beautifully. We're certainly beginning to feel very festive as we prepare to celebrate our Saviours birth.
