It’s great to welcome our uniformed organisations this morning for our St. Georges Day Parade.

Whether you are just visiting or are a regular in our church we pray that you find refreshment in faith amongst us. If you have any questions or need directions around the building then please ask one of the welcome team.

Our minister, Jason and his wife Claire are away on holiday this week. Chris and Ted lead our service this morning that will also include a renewal of promises for the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers. The youngsters will stay will us throughout the service, but there is a creche running for our pre-school children. Please do stay after the service for refreshments for which there is no charge.

Whilst Jason and Claire are away, should you need, then do contact Paul Stender our Church Secretary or one of the deacons. Next week Paul and Ruth lead our service as we explore Psalm 46 and the challenge of being still and knowing God.

Baptism

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone for your support and prayers on Easter Sunday. What a marvelous day! Thank you to each and every one who helped in making my baptism so amazing. I was overwhelmed by the cards and gifts. So much love from you all. I’m still smiling and telling everyone. Praise the Lord.
Love Mary.

It was wonderful last week to share in the baptism of four of our fellowship. Mary shared this card with us, the original is on the notice board at the back of the church. Hallelujah, he has risen!

Can you help me?

Last week June Kemp met a lady in town who offered to help with her orchids. She was with a young boy and if anyone remembers the encounter or knows who the helpful lady was – please could they contact June? Thanks 🙂
