24 September 2017 – Church Newsletter

This morning Jason and Lauren lead our service. Jason continues the series of ‘Fruitfulness on the Frontline’ by considering ‘Making Good Work’ based from Genesis chapters 1 & 2.

Our younger groups have their various sessions after we spend some time all together in the service this morning. If you would like to know anything about what goes on here today or what our fellowship gets up to then please do ask one of the welcome team who met you as you came in this morning. And do stay with us after the service for refreshments and the opportunity to get to know someone a bit more over a cuppa and biscuits.

Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17

Parkinson’s UK

A couple of months ago Bex’s Mum was diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson’s disease. Following this diagnosis, her sister Esther and brother in law Tim are taking part in the Bournemouth marathon on October 8th to raise money for Parkinson’s UK a charity whose work has and will hugely help their family in the future. To help them in their fundraising Bex and Adam are providing cakes after church on October 15th. They will gladly allow you to take possession of these cakes in return for a donation, so please come prepared so you can enjoy some yummy cakes and support this great charity.

Ladies Breakfast

Thanks to all who supported the ladies breakfast yesterday. What a great way to start the weekend with a proper breakfast, good fellowship and inspiring thoughts from Bekah Legg.
