Welcome to BIG CHURCH- the one where we’re All-In!

The service this morning will be led by The BIG Church Team with lots of help from some familiar friends!

Our worship today will continue to look at the life of Daniel. In Daniel Chapter 2, we read of Daniel’s response to King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and learn the importance of seeking God first in all thing”

WHAT? Today, we’ll be finding out why living a life of faith putting GOD FIRST is so important. We’ll be finding out how God used Daniel’s faithfulness to influence a King and thinking about how we can strive to follow his example in our daily lives.

HOW? Through God’s Word, music, drama, discussion, being still, moving, creating, thinking, writing, not writing, doodling, watching, listening… and more!

PREPARE… Come ready to encounter and be changed by God and grow in relationship with Hime PRAY… That the Holy Spirit will inspire and challenge you and that Jesus will be the focus of all our worship.

FINALLY… As always, we encourage you to fill up the church from the front and pray that you will leave the building challenged and changed.

Discuss Questions

  • Read Matthew 25 v 35-46
  • If we are to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, where is He in our society today?
  • Which groups of people represent Him?
  • Do we actually focus on Jesus in these people?
  • Why is this sometimes difficult for us to do?

Think Questions

  • How can you seek God first in different aspects of your life?
  • Think about a recent problem you have grappled with – who did you seek first in that situation?

Psalm 27:7-14  New International Version

Hear my voice when I call, LORD;
be merciful to me and answer me.
My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’
Your face, LORD, I will seek.
Teach me your way, LORD;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.
