The service this morning will be led by the Big Church Team with help from some familiar friends!
In our worship today we will celebrate th at we are adopted children of God.
- WHAT? Today, we’ll be finding about being children of God.
- HOW? Through God’s words, music and drama, being still, moving, creating, thinking, writing, writing, doodling, watching, listening…and more!
- PREPARE… Come ready to be adopted by God and grow as His child.
- PRAY… That the Holy Spirit will inspire and challenge you and that Jesus will be the focus of all our worship. Pray too for those that our gifts will reach, that they may know that they are loved by God.
- FINALLY… As always, we encourage you to fill up the church from the front and pray that you will leave the building challenged and changed.
Discuss:
- Are all people ‘children of God What makes a ‘child of God’?
- What sort of privileges and responsibilities come with this?
- How can we live our lives with the knowledge that we are adopted into God’s family?
Think:
- Think about the differences between a family member and a friend.
- What does it mean to be a part of God’s family?
- Should the church act more like a family and less like friends?
- How can God as our Father change the way we live?

Christmas Fair
Only a couple of weeks before our Christmas Fair. Please do spread the word and let people know about this amazing event. We also need a number of people and/or things to help out. If you can provide good as new items for selling or items for prize a time games then please do see Elain, Denise or Lauren. If you’re up for helping on the day then look out for the sign up sheet at the back of church. Thanks and enjoy 🙂
Sandra, David, Jason & Stuart thank everyone for their cards, messages, prayers and kind concern since Sandra’s mum passed away. The funeral was on Friday and she is now at peace from her suffering. We have had many visits to Southampton for 3 months and Sandra is quite exhausted by all the arrangements, visits, etc. Please continue to pray for us in coming days for strength and a sense of peace. We are also praying for our friends as you also deal with the loss of some great people.
