Easter at
Broadwater Baptist Church

April 6th, 10.30am
All In Service
As the name suggests this is a chance for everybody to join together in exploring what God wants to say to both young and old. We do this through songs, craft, discussions, writing and movement. It’s an opportunity for anyone who finds “Church” a little daunting to experience it a little differently.
April 12th, 3.00pm – 5.00pm
Free Community Fun Event
You are welcome to join us for a couple of fun filled hours on a Saturday afternoon as we celebrate a Swiss chocolate Easter. We will have lots of fun to get involved with. From craft, food, sport, games and there’s normally quite a few pies in the face. Oh and did we mention it’s all free. We’d love to see you there and there’s always a party bag to take home with you so you can take the fun away with you.

Palm Sunday Service
As we head towards Easter we get an opportunity to share Jesus’ walk to the cross, beginning with His entry into Jerusalem. Palm Sunday gives us a chance to move away from the commercialisation of Easter and share together in our hope for better and grow in our faith that God will make the difference. For the disciples, it was unknown, however we can grasp it if only we would try.
April 18th, 10.30am
Good Friday Service
It is often said “why GOOD Friday?” and it’s a valid question because what we understand in the the story of that day is violence, anger, hate, torture and death, and that is not good at all. What is good about this Friday is we are shown there is another way of life where all that is NOT good can be overcome without responding in the same way. We would love you to know more about what that means by offering an invitation to join us in a reflective service on Good Friday.

Easter Sunday Service
It may have been Friday and all was dark and desperate but “Sunday is here” It would be great to share with you our celebration of new life. We come together on Easter Sunday to experience the power of love over all that is wrong in our world. That in Jesus and His resurrection we can not only see new life, give thanks for it, share it with one another and live it out together. We’d love you to join us and see what it’s all about.
