Whether this is your first visit, or you feel like you are part of the furniture, we pray you find a fresh welcome as we gather for worship.

We meet each Sunday to bring our prayers, praise and worship, to explore God’s word and to join in fellowship with God’s family. We continue our series of services looking at Nehemiah through February and welcome some different voices to guide our thoughts.

After our service, there is always time for fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee, so please do join us to say hello and find out more about our life together as a fellowship.

Homegroups

Our homegroups are small midweek gatherings in people’s homes, where there is opportunity to explore issues about our beliefs and support each other as we live out our faith. There is a variety of formats, as unique as the people who attend. This month the various meetings are:

  • Linda Rockall’s group: 6th & 27th Ted & Sherrie’s group: 6th & 27th Paul & Lauren’s group: 7th & 21st
  • Joy’s group: 6th & 19th
  • Youth group: 5th
  • Jason’s group: 7th & 21st
  • Paul & Sue’s group: next in March

A message from David and Sandra

On Sunday 10th February St Matthew’s Church, Tarring Road, BNII 4HB will be open for about an hour from 3pm for any who wish to remember Jason and Stuart and those who died or were injured in the helicopter crash. Refreshments will be available at the back of the church so that people can mix informally and at about 3.15pm after a brief word of welcome and prayer, there will be the opportunity to light candles and take time to be quiet and reflect. At any time people wishing to have more quiet space can remain around the candles. Anyone wishing to attend will be very welcome.
